that is some EPIC artwork the death, say what materials did you use if you dont mind?

looks cool :) so whats the story on this background and the flares on the far right are those monster's eyes?

The story basically is that we have this fiery entity using its powers to take control of the 'forest' depicted; the roots (or tentacles) entangling the creature's 'attacks' (depicted by thicker, warmer branches sprouting from the top-down) are the work of the forest itself as it fights for continued independence. I didn't think so far ahead as to why this is happening but I guess it's fitting that we're only aware of what we can see.

The flares to the right are indeed the monster's eyes, I chose not to give it a fully physical image so as to imply that it is not of this world + create a feeling of superior strength and power as the creature is not bounded by a physical body.

now you need is death playing it 8D awesome 3-D sculpture dude im an artist who's into clay and other sculptures but this is amazing bone harp i have ever seen a clever idea indeed im just wondering who's human hair did u got

Thanks. I used my own hair- I've got plenty of it. I washed it, sterilized/bleached it with hydrogen peroxide, and spun it into yarn.

this definetly reminds me of a necromorph due to its face peeling out to reveal a monster awesome i rate it 5 :D
